Seychelles International Business Act
In December 2016 the Seychelles International Business Act of 2016 was enacted and replaced previous legislation on international business companies in the Seychelles.
The provisions of the Act relate to:
-
retaining and maintaining an internal register of beneficial owners requirement, which need not to be filed with the Registrar; and
-
filing the company’s register of directors with the Registrar as an obligation.
A grace period of 12 months for companies exists on 1 December 2016 to comply with the new legislation.
